The third round of the PGA Championship was producing plenty of low scores as winds were not affecting play.

Victor Dubuisson started the day 4 under through his first five holes, including an eagle on the par-5 second. Danny Lee matched Dubuisson’s start.
Mickelson was even better. He had nine birdies through 17 holes and moved to 5 under. The downside? Lefty also had three bogeys. Still, through 14 holes he was tied for 14th, having climbed 48 places on the leaderboard..
He has been making great shots all week.
Leaders Matt Jones, a 11 under; and Jason Day, 9 under, were scheduled to begin play at 4:06 p.m. ET, hoping the course remained favorable.
Mickelson showed he could ax strokes off the course with a second-round eagle. But he couldn’t make much happen in the first two days’ play, finishing a stroke over par and narrowly surviving the cut.
Boo Weekley jumped 54 places, tied for seventh at 6 under. Dubuisson slipped to 3 under late in his round. Lee finished at 2 under.
