The petition on change.org includes a photo of an abused dog and calls Vick "a monster and a disgrace." It's addressed to SUNY Cortland president Erik J. Bitterbaum, saying "if we welcome Vick onto our campus, we are complicit in his crimes."

Vick, who recently signed with the Jets after five seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, served nearly two years in federal prison for pleading guilty in 2007 to being part of a dogfighting ring.
The Jets have trained at SUNY Cortland four of the last five summers, but haven't announced whether they will return this year.
